Commonwealth Connections: Instructor Day
January 4th, 9:00-1:30
Kickstart your Semester!
Join us for a half-day, virtual event focusing on strategies that will kickstart your semester. This event will feature an instructor panel and a student panel, followed by an open discussion. Topics of discussion for both panels will cover similar themes so you can hear both the faculty and student perspective. The day ends with a chance to connect with colleagues from across the Commonwealth in an open discussion to synthesis, reflect, and wrap up the day.
The panel discussions will include the following topics:
- Fostering a sense of community
- Coordinating effective group work
- Creating an inclusive classroom
- Encouraging academic integrity

Organize Your Canvas Course: Join us for a workshop on organizing your Canvas course for your students! This workshop will also count as part 3 of our campus Canvas badge training course.
