Tuesday, September 4, 12 Noon – 1:00 PM:  Canvas at Penn State – A refresher and overview of our Canvas learning management system.  Join us to learn how to work with modules, assignments, the gradebook, student groups and more. (D213A)

Tuesday, September 11, 10:00 AM – 12 Noon: MediaSpace Essentials – This session will introduce participants to Penn State’s Kaltura MediaSpace Portal, a cloud-based video storage and streaming service available to all faculty, staff, and students. A Kaltura learning professional will show participants how to upload and edit media, review the differences between channels and galleries, how to create and manage channels, and how to share media. Wednesday, September 12, 12 Noon – 1:00 PM: Canvas – Embedding Tools in Canvas – This one-hour online demonstration will share uses and applications of Lynda.com, Box, Quizlet, and other tools in a Canvas course.  By participating in this session, you will be able to locate, create, and embed interactive tools into your Canvas course. Thursday, September 20, 12 Noon – 1:00 PM: Office 365 – Online Apps – A hands-on workshop featuring the use of online Office 365 tools.  We will discuss OneDrive, Groups, OneNote and Sway, and discuss how to choose the best application depending on your needs. (D213A)

Tuesday, September 25, 12 Noon – 1:00 PM: Kaltura Media Management System – Penn State has a new system for sharing online video across the University.  The Kaltura Media Management System integrates with Canvas to provide video presentations and quizzes without leaving your course. (D213A)
