Thursday, October 4, 12 Noon – 1:00 PM:  Kaltura: Video Quizzes in Canvas – Our new Kaltura software platform provides video and multimedia access directly in Canvas.  Learn how to extend the usefulness of your video by creating graded assignments. (D213A)

Tuesday, October 9, 12 Noon – 1:00 PM:  Online Proctoring with Examity – Penn State has invested in academic integrity technologies that can help faculty detect and deter student cheating. Attendees in this session will learn about the capabilities of Examity, an online proctoring service that has been licensed by Penn State institution-wide. Participants will learn how to get access to the tool, as well as learn more about how it has been used at Penn State. (D213A)

Wednesday, October 10, 12 Noon – 1:00 PM: Canvas: Create and Organize Your Course –  This session in our campus Canvas Badge program provides faculty with hands-on training for creating, editing and organizing content in their courses.   Optimize course content for accessibility, customize style and navigation, and publish your course for students. Wednesday, October 17, 12:05 – 1:05 PM: Zoom in the Classroom – Join us for this workshop on using Zoom with your classes.  Present lectures, bring in guest speakers and record your presentations in the cloud. You can even conduct online office hours with Zoom.  We will cover setting up webinars, hosting ad hoc conferences and demonstrate key host tools that will help you conduct effective meetings and webinars. Thursday, October 25, Noon – 1:00 PM: Office 365: Class Notebook – Hands-on workshop using Microsoft Office 365 Class Notebook application in OneNote.  Class Notebook can be used for student to student and faculty collaboration and sharing links, photos, videos and text.  Create a notebook for your course and start sharing.
